Job Description:
- Company representatives connect with vendors (shipping partners, service providers)
to work and build relationships.
- Receive inquiries from sales, check price & shipping schedule & related conditions with
vendors.
- Negotiate with vendors to get the most suitable price and service.
- Quotation for sales, support sales, ensure prices are provided for sales timely,
competitive and high profit.
- Coordinate with CS/Docs to work with vendors to handle arising problems during
order fulfillment, if any.
- Update prices from vendors weekly/monthly.
- Meeting with vendors to maintain relationships and update the market.
- Analysis, forecast, market assessment, vendor evaluation.
- Make job update reports.
Requirements:
- Graduated from relevant Universities/College in Logistics such as Foreign Trade
University; College of External Economics; University of Transport, ... or some schools
related to import-export business, shipping.
- At least 1 year of experience (preferably in the Transportation/Logistics industry)
- Good relationship with shipping lines/NVOCC/FWD, understanding the shipping
market & strengths of each shipping line is an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Flexibility in handling situations with suppliers and sales.
- Love my job.
- Honesty, responsibility, progressive spirit. Dynamic, eager to learn, enthusiastic in work.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Internet, Google tools,...
- Good English communication.
