Job Description:
• Vessel plan reconciliation, accurately declare inbound containers to Port & Customs E-
manifest within the required time frame.
• Place an order with the barge vendor and monitor barge performance.
• Coordinate amendment requests and resolve disputes with the oversea agency.
• Support another member in solving daily ad-hoc issues regarding Inbound cargo.
• Stay connected with Ports/ Customs to stay up to date with new regulations which
could affect the internal process.
• Aware of all Import procedures and how they are connected to other Departments and
provide feedback on areas that can be further improved; or participate in inter-
Department development projects.
• Compile ad-hoc report as requested by the Import Manager.
Requirements:
• MS Office: MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external
stakeholders.
• Customer service oriented.
• Team player with the ability to work cohesively with colleagues across various functions
/departments.
• Meticulous with an eye for details.
• Able to work independently.
